I am a few days passed 7 weeks and had my first full prenatal appointment today. We even got to see a picture of our little love on the ultrasound. I will be honest- it took me a few minutes to even figure out what I was looking at, but the ultrasound tech said everything looked great. We even saw the flickering- the heart beat! The tech said everything was "normal." Normal is good, so we are thrilled!
I am feeling like total crap, which while unpleasant, we know is for a GREAT reason. If I am ever going to feel like hell, this is about as good of a reason as I could think of. All of the normal symptoms you read about, and then this crazy craving for beef. I have become a regular at In&Out burger, which is highly odd if you know me well. In general, I have a dislike for all meat. Not for any health or animal rights reasons, just because I am not a big red meat fan. Until now, that is. Seriously love In & Out and cannot get enough.
This is our little love at 7wks1day. Dates on the side are off a bit. As of now, due date is set for April 30, 2011!
PS- Don't feel badly if you can't see anything. I think the ultrasound tech thought I was an idiot because I couldn't see anything either!
Next appointment is in early October at 10.5 weeks!
